NWLA: Sunday Outlook

July 20, 2014

So yeah, we lost to PWL. Their pitcher found the zone, which according to unnamed sources is “a miracle”. I’m not bitter (This is a lie). But that sent us to the loser’s bracket where we sent Washburn packing on the strength of angry Ryan Bush. Here’s what to expect on Sunday:

•There will be a new team in the championship… but it won’t be WSEM. My money is on HRL.

•We play HWL at 8 am and I can promise you we will be as fired up as we were against Washburn.

•Tampa sandbagged Saturday (I don’t know why), and they almost forced themselves out of the tournament. Expect them to regain form tomorrow.

•KWL and GBL get screwed again, as they play each other and the loser goes home.

•Skibbe plays a surprising Mequon team in the Battle of the sort-of overrated teams.

•The top half of the bracket had no really great teams in it. I have nothing more to say on this topic.

•MNWA wins the Dangerfield in a shocking walk off over WWL. Regis gets sad-face.

•PWL makes it to Tampa and gets flattened by ________ Harley

•No prediction on who wins. Nothing makes sense anymore.

It should be another great day of wiffle in Central Ohio. Can’t wait for it to start.
