Upcoming Milestones

The OCWA is approaching its’ fifth season of existence, and there are several milestones that are upcoming for OCWA players and teams. Here’s a look at what might be coming up this season.

 

General

 

Winning Streak-If the Freaky Franchise does not lose before June 24, they will not have lost a regular season game in two years. They have not lost in the last 28 regular season games.

 

Championship Watch-Justin Tomkins has a chance to win his third consecutive Opening Day Tournament championship, and his fifth overall.

 

Championship Watch-Ryan Bush has a chance to win his third consecutive OCWA Championship, and his fourth overall.

 

Probable Individual Milestones 

 

At-Bats-Ryan Bush (467) expected to reach 500 at-bats.

 

Runs-Ryan Bush (286) and Chris Roeder (264) expected to reach 300 runs scored.

 

Hits-Chris Roeder (197) expected to reach 200 hits. (Ryan Bush has already passed this milestone with 227)

 

Doubles-Ryan Bush (47) and Justin Tomkins (46) expected to reach 50 doubles.


Triples-Chris Sacheli (18) expected to reach 20 triples.

 

Home Runs-Chris Roeder (89) expected to reach 100 home runs. (Ryan Bush has already passed this milestone with 116)

 

Runs Batted In-Ryan Bush (408) expected to reach 500 RBI.

 

Batting Strikeouts-Nate St. Ours (95) and Justin Tomkins (83) expected to reach 100 strikeouts. (Jon Suhre has already passed this milestone with 103)

 

Innings Pitched-Justin Tomkins (95.2) and Jon Suhre (92.0) expected to reach 100 innings pitched. (Ryan Bush (146.2), Chris Roeder (115.1), and Doug Bush (102.1) have already passed this milestone)

 

Earned Runs-Jon Suhre (245) and James Draveck (241) expected to reach 300 earned runs.

 

Pitching Walks-Nate St. Ours (242) expected to reach 300 walks.

 

Pitching Strikeouts-Ryan Bush (343) expected to reach 400 strikeouts.

 

Possible Individual Milestones

 

At-Bats-Chris Roeder (407) and Justin Tomkins (405) can potentially reach 500 at-bats.

 

Runs-Justin Tomkins (246) can potentially reach 300 runs.

 

Hits-Justin Tomkins (159) and Doug Bush (139) can potentially reach 200 hits.

 

Doubles-Doug Bush (36) can potentially reach 50 doubles.

 

Triples-Justin Tomkins (14) can potentially reach 20 triples.
